We have situations where we need to change the fund class on a fund.  However, in doing so FIMS changes all historical data.  We would like to preserve that data's integrity because at the time of grant making, that was what the fund was at the time.  Ex. Field of Interest fund turns to a Designated fund base on donor request.  The system asks you when it is to be effective, but it still changes historical data.
